I am a clinical informatician with training background in clinical data mining, statistics, machine learning modeling and biomedical science. I have conducted research in risk predictive models among various complex diseases, including diabetes, substance use disorders and psychiatric diseases.
My projects are focusing on the patient electronic heath record (EHR) data and genetic data to develop data-driven risk models of complex diseases and related implementation of clinical decision support system. I have developed polygenic risk score and machine models using EHR information for multiple chronic diseases. Currently, I am working on creating EHR-based longitudinal patient profiles using recurrent neural network (RNN) techniques, so to better describe disease trajectories and identify hidden pattern among large patient cohort.
