Visiting Researcher

Chunchun Yuan is a Visiting Scientist in the Huang Lab. Chunchun’s research interest primarily focuses on bone and brain metabolic diseases. He and his team have established a Chinese population cohort of more than 50,000 individuals, containing data on chronic diseases such as osteoporosis, fractures, schizophrenia, and so on. In recent years, he co-founded The Bone Health 100K Genomes Project with Wang Yongjun and Xu Shuhua. The initiative aims to leverage population genomics and cross-scale analysis to decipher the mechanisms underlying complex brain-bone comorbidity, thereby providing actionable solutions for clinical translation.
